This one is really good what I did different was I rolled the stew beef in flour and browned it before I put it in the crock pot, makes the meat really tender, And instead using a broth use a brown gravy and a beef gravy packets 1 of each. And I omitted the ginger and cornstarch step.

I made this, this past Saturday for dinner. While my grands picked out the peppers, they loved it and had seconds. My two adult kids also had seconds. So, next time I’ll double the recipe. This was quick, easy, minimal hands on and delicious.

  3. You can mix 2 tablespoons of cornstarch with 1/4 cup water or broth. Stir together and then stir into the crock pot. Cook on high for about 30 minutes uncovered or until thickened.

  4. Good recipe, but in the video you use been STOCK but in the list of ingredients you use beef BROTH- they are similar but still different, so its a tad confusing which one you’re actually supposed to use…

Such a good recipe! It’s been one of stand by recipes for a while now. Easy to fix and just let it go in the crockpot. I usually don’t put the peppers and onions in until a couple of hours before it’s finished, that way they don’t get as mushy.

  6. My liquick was all very watery? Had to pull out all the liquid and thicken it with cornstarch!
