This Homemade Watermelon Lemonade is the best!
Watermelon is now on sale everywhere and you can get it as low as $2.99 at Aldi right now. That means that it is time to make all things Watermelon. Our family whipped up a quick batch of Homemade Watermelon Lemonade in just a few minutes and the entire family was in awe with how delicious it was!
With three easy ingredients you can make homemade watermelon lemonade too!
- 4 cups of chopped watermelon
- 2 Tablespoons of sugar
- 4 cups of Lemonade
Now I use this 4 cup measuring cup which is handy to measure out the watermelon. Remember, this is isn’t rocket science. You just want an approximate.
Combine all the ingredients in a blender and blend. We have a Waring Blender and a Vitamix. Both are great options and I love both of mine. Now the Waring Blenders are going to be less expensive, but they are a much better option than the regular blender.
Quickly strain to make sure all the seeds are out.
Poor over ice and you have an amazing and refreshing drink.
This Homemade Watermelon Lemonade can be made in a matter of minutes and your guests will be shocked with how delicious it is!
How much did I spend?
My watermelon cost only $3.99 at Aldi, but I used less than a 1/4. I used under $1 of watermelon.
The Sugar, was cheap since I used only 1 tablespoons.
The Lemonade was only $.50, because I got it on sale and used my coupons. (If you don’t use coupons, check out my other blog here where I HELP people save a ton of money each month)
Total for everything? Less than $1.50. Talk about a cheap and “fancy” drink.
I’ve gotten a few questions on where you can buy the pretty straws and the fun lids to the mason jars. I actually bought them on Amazon:
Now Chevron Straws are a bit more expensive, but definitely worth it if you are throwing a fun party.
