Time saving tip:
We keep diced onion and bell pepper in the freezer so it is easy to add to any recipe we like. Another time saving tip is to use a small food chopper or food processor to quickly and easily chop the onions.
If you do not have one of these, I highly recommend them. They are such a time saver and you can get the veggies really fine if you have children that are picky.
I usually just chop the entire vegetable and freeze what I don’t need. It’s so nice to be able to just take the diced onion out of the freezer for recipes.
This is how I meal prep. It’s so quick and easy and helps get dinner on the table fast.

Make sure you have a good crock pot to make this easy meatball soup!
Now you definitely need a crock pot for this recipe. I have two favorite crock pots.
I love my Ninja cooking system. It is pretty awesome because you can brown your ground beef or whatever meat you are cooking in the pot and then let is slow cook all day.
That means one more less pan to cook for most recipes. This has become my new favorite crock pot just because of that one feature!
I am all about making things easier around here and having less dishes to clean up! You can make this in the instant pot if you prefer.
I also love this programmable 6 quart crock pot. It is awesome and very nice on the budget.
I love that it will seal closed so you can transport it for parties and tailgates. This is such an awesome feature if you take your crock pot places.
Another time saving tip is to use Crockpot liners. They make clean up a breeze.
Instead of scrubbing and washing the pot, you can just toss the liner. It is practically no clean up.

I made this it was absolutely delicious!!!
This recipe was so easy and delicious! Our 4 year old grandson loved it too! Great family dinner which a served with some crusty. Big hit with everyone.
I made this recipe and really loved it. I used Kirkland frozen meatballs, which worked well. The only change I made was not adding the pasta to the soup, I cooked it by itself and added to the soup a serving at a time. Since I knew I would have leftovers I did not want the pasta to become overcooked. This seemed to work really well for us. The soup is so tasty and really hit the spot on a cold day. Thanks for the great recipe.
We took out the noodles and added potatoes! But we absolutely loved it!
Quick and easy made it for work everyone loved it.
Its smelling so good and making my whole apartment smell like Italian, my son has Italian in him so we can’t wait until its done to eat it. I would definitely make it again, especially with garlic bread and a side salad ?
Loved it! I made according to recipe except for substituting precooked rice at the end instead of pasta and used gluten free meatballs. So good!!

I made this for last night’s dinner. My wife and I loved it! I also like the simplicity of the ingredients. Big Hit!
I’m so glad you liked it!
Can I use fresh meatballs? Would I add later?
Excited to try this!
Yes, you can use fresh meatballs. I recommend baking them prior to adding them to the crock pot so that they do not fall apart. Since they will already be cooked, I would add them for the last hour of the cook time only. I hope you enjoy it!
This soup has lots of room for improvement. Basically, it tastes like Chef Boardee spaghetti and meatballs out of a can. Next time I make it, I will experiment with adding ingredients.
