Wrap each of the hot dogs with the slices of bacon. Making sure not to overlap the bacon so that it cooks evenly. Secure both ends of the bacon to the hot dog with toothpicks.
HOW TO BAKE:
Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F. Place the hot dogs on a baking sheet lined with foil or with parchment paper.
Bake the hot dogs for 13-16 minutes (flipping them halfway through the cook time) until the bacon is cooked through and crispy.
Allow them to sit for 5 minutes. Remove the toothpicks. Then serve on the hot dog buns and enjoy!
HOW TO GRILL:
Preheat the grill over high heat (approximately 400 degrees F). Rub the grill grates with olive oil or spray with a non-stick cooking spray so that the hot dogs do not stick to the grill.
Place the bacon wrapped hot dogs on the grill and cook with the grill lid closed for 8-12 minutes (turning them every 2-3 minutes) until the bacon is browned and crispy.
Remove the hot dogs from the grill. Allow them to sit for 5 minutes. Remove the toothpicks. Then serve on the hot dog buns and enjoy!
HOW TO AIR FRYER:
Preheat the air fryer to 400 degrees F. If your air fryer does not have a preheat option, then run the air fryer at 400 degrees F for 5 minutes to warm it up.
Rub the air fryer basket with oil so that the hot dogs do not stick to the basket. Place the hot dogs in the air fryer basket. Cook at 400 degrees F for 8 minutes. Flip the hot dogs and cook for 5-6 more minutes at 400 degrees F until the bacon is cooked through and crispy.
Remove the hot dogs from the air fryer. Allow them to sit for 5 minutes. Remove the toothpicks. Then serve on the hot dog buns and enjoy!
