Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F and spray a 9X13 baking dish with a non-stick cooking spray.
Place the cinnamon rolls in an even layer in the pan and set the icing that comes with the cinnamon roll packages aside for later.
Pour the heavy whipping cream over the cinnamon rolls and make sure it gets between the cinnamon rolls as well.
In a small mixing bowl, melt 4 tablespoons of the butter and stir in the brown sugar and ground cinnamon. Pour this mixture evenly over the top of the cinnamon rolls.
Cover the pan with foil and bake for 30 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for 10 more minutes to brown the cinnamon rolls.
Remove the cinnamon rolls from the oven and let the set while you prepare the frosting for the cinnamon rolls.
In a medium size mixing bowl, place the remaining butter and cream cheese. Microwave this mixture for 30 seconds to soften the ingredients. Then beat together the cream cheese and butter with a hand held mixer.
Add in the 2 packages of icing that came in the cinnamon roll packages and the powder sugar. Beat with the mixer until the icing is creamy.,
Spread the icing evenly over the cinnamon. Serve while warm and enjoy!
Notes
Refrigerate the leftovers in an airtight container for up to 1 week. This recipe can easily be made with any flavor of cinnamon rolls but Grands Cinnamon Rolls work the best for this recipe.
