Crock Pot Mississippi Chicken

Ingredients

boneless skinless chicken breasts

jar pepperoncini peppers
(with juice)

packet ranch dressing mix
1/2
cup
butter
(1 stick)
Instructions
Add the chicken breasts to the bottom of the slow cooker. (I used a 6 quart crock pot.)
Sprinkle ranch packet over the top of the chicken and pour the jar of peppercinis on top.
Place the stick of butter on top.
Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours.
When it is ready, take two forks and shred the chicken.
Stir and serve.
Notes
We love serving this over mashed potatoes! Refrigerate the leftovers in an air tight container for up to 5-7 days.
