This amazing Philly Cheesesteak Stuffed French Bread Recipe is so cheesy and stuffed with tons of flavor. Plus, this delicious meal takes just minutes.
Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium high heat. Then add the steak, minced garlic, salt and pepper. Cook over medium heat high until the steak is seared on both sides and is almost cooked through.
Add the green peppers, onions and beef broth to the skillet and sauté uncovered for 4-5 minutes until they are tender and the steak is cooked through.
Then place the 2 halve of the loaf of bread on a baking sheet. Use a spoon to take out some of the bread from the center of the loaf.
Place the bread in the oven and bake the bread for approximately 5 minutes.
Then spoon the 1/2 of the steak and peppers mixtures into each loaf after this baking time.
Next add the sliced provolone cheese on top of the steak mixture. Overlapping each slice slightly.
Place back into the oven for approximately 5 minutes or until the cheese has melted.
Remove from the oven and allow time to cool. Then use a large knife to cut each loaf into slices for easy serving. Enjoy!
