Keto Beef Carne Asada

- 2 cups cheddar cheese (shredded)
- 1 lb ground beef
- 2 Tbsp taco seasoning
- 1/2 cup salsa
- Taco Toppings: Cheese, tomatoes, avocado, etc.
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone mat.
Then place the cheese in approximately 1/4 cup piles that are at least 2 inches a part from each other. Then press the cheese down slightly.
Bake for 8-11 minutes or until the edges of the cheese are slightly browned.
Then let the cheese for approximately 2-3 minutes. Then remove the cheese from the sheet and bend it over a wooden handle that is balanced in between 2 cups.
While the shells are cooling, brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium high heat until the beef is browned. Drain off any excess grease.
Then add in the taco seasoning and the salt. Stir everything together and cook for 3-5 minutes or heated through.
Then add the meat to the cheese taco shells and top with your favorite taco toppings.
*We recommend shredding your own cheese as it melts more evenly.
*The cheese will release grease as it cooks so you can bloat the cheese after the cook time with paper towels prior to moving them to the wooden spoons to cool completely.
