  • 4 Salmon Filets
  • 5 Tbsp Honey (divided)
  • 2 Tbsp Olive Oil
  • 6 Tbsp Butter
  • 1 Tbsp Minced Garlic
  • Lime (juiced)
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Pepper

  • Heat up a cast iron skillet on medium high heat.
  • Season salmon with the salt and pepper.
  • Add the salmon filets to the skillet and drizzle about a tablespoon of honey on each salmon filet. Allow it to cook for 3 minutes on medium high heat. You want to be the beautiful brown crust on the salmon before you flip it.
  • Flip and cook another 2 to 3 minutes until done and fish is flakey. Remove from heat.
  • Meanwhile melt butter in a medium saucepan over medium heat. Cook, whisking constantly until the butter begins to turn a golden brown (about 3 minutes).
  • Stir in the garlic, 1 Tablespoon of honey, and the fresh squeezed lime juice.
  • Remove the salmon from the heat and drizzle the honey butter sauce over the cooked salmon.
  • Serve immediately and enjoy!

Refrigerate the leftovers in an air tight container for up to 3 days.
