Easy Crock Pot Chicken Taco Soup

Try Crockpot Chicken Taco Soup when you need a tasty dinner fast. Simply toss all the ingredients in the slow cooker and Taco Chicken Soup will be ready!

  • 3 boneless chicken breasts
  • 2 cans white beans 15 oz - White Northern Beans
  • ½ onion chopped
  • 1 can diced tomatoes with green chilis (10 oz)
  • 2 Tbsp taco seasoning
  • ½ tsp Garlic salt
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 1 cup chicken broth


  • Place the chicken in the crock pot. Dump everything else in the crockpot on top.
  • Cover and cook on low for 6 to 8 hours or low for 3-4 hours.
  • Remove chicken and shred. Place shredded chicken back in slow cooker and stir.
  • Serve topped with your favorite taco toppings and enjoy!


Another idea for the recipe is to add more beans in recipes to stretch the meat. This is a great recipe to add more beans and tomatoes to and it will make your soup go further.
*Refrigerate the leftovers in an air tight container for up to 5-7 days.
