Ingredients

  • 2 pounds ground beef browned
  • 1 onion finely diced
  • 3 cans crushed tomatoes 14.5 oz
  • 1 tomato paste (12 oz.)
  • 1 Tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
  • 2 teaspoons minced garlic
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1 cup red wine or beef broth
  • 16 oz spaghetti

Instructions

  • In a large skillet brown the ground beef.
  • Add the browned ground beef to the slow cooker. I used a 6 quart slow cooker.
  • Add in all the other ingredients except the pasta to the slow cooker.
  • Cook on low for 6 hours.
  • Stir to combine.
  • Meanwhile boil your spaghetti until al dente.
  • You can stir your pasta into your cooked Bolognese sauce or you can serve the sauce on top of a plate of spaghetti.

Notes

We like to top with parmesan cheese.
