- 4 chicken breasts fillet (or use chicken tenders)
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 8 oz jar of pesto sauce
- 1/4 cup butter
- 7 oz sliced mozzarella cheese
Place the chicken in the bottom of the slow cooker. I used a 6 quart slow cooker.
Season with salt and pepper.
Spread the pesto sauce over the chicken and place the butter on top.
Cook on low for 6-8 hours or until chicken is cooked through.
15 minutes before ready to serve top with mozzarella cheese. Add the lid back on the crock pot and cook until melted.
Serve immediately.
