  • 4 chicken breasts fillet (or use chicken tenders)
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 8 oz jar of pesto sauce
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 7 oz sliced mozzarella cheese


  • Place the chicken in the bottom of the slow cooker. I used a 6 quart slow cooker.
  • Season with salt and pepper.
  • Spread the pesto sauce over the chicken and place the butter on top.
  • Cook on low for 6-8 hours or until chicken is cooked through.
  • 15 minutes before ready to serve top with mozzarella cheese. Add the lid back on the crock pot and cook until melted.
  • Serve immediately.
