Ingredients
FOR THE BEEF GYROS:

lbs
roast
cut into bite size pieces or strips

large onion
thinly sliced

Tbsp
minced garlic
1
tsp
dried oregano
1
tsp
salt
1/2
tsp
pepper

Tbsp
fresh lemon juice
Warmed pita folds
Sliced tomatoes and lettuce
for serving
FOR THE TZATZIKI SAUCE:

plain Greek yogurt

cup
diced cucumber
seeded and shredded

dried dill or 2 Tbsp fresh dill

salt

minced garlic
Salt and pepper
Instructions
Combine the beef onion, oregano, salt, pepper, and lemon juice in a crock pot.
Cook on low for 8 hours or until beef is tender.
In a small bowl combine the ingredients for the TZATZIKI sauce.
Store in the fridge until ready to serve.
Place the beef in a warmed pita and top with the sauce.
