Ingredients
3/4
cup
brown sugar - divided
1/4
cup
soy sauce
divided

ground ginger

teaspoons
minced garlic

cayenne

chicken thighs

can tomato paste

Instructions
Combine 1/4 cup brown sugar, 2 tablespoons soy sauce, 4 oz tomato paste, ginger, minced garlic, and cayenne pepper in a bowl.
Place the chicken thighs in the crock pot. Pour the ingredients in the bowl on top.
Cook on low for 4 hours or until done.
When finished, place the chicken on a baking dish.
Preheat the broiler
Combine the remaining tomato paste, 1/2 cup brown sugar, water, and soy sauce in a small bowl.
Brush over the chicken. Broil the chicken under the broiler for about 5 minutes.
Serve immediately.
