  • 1 cup warm water
  • 1/3 cup Vegetable Oil
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 2 Tbsp Yeast
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1 egg beaten
  • 1 Tbsp Butter softened at room temperature
  • 3 1/2 cups All Purpose Flour
  • 2 Tbsp Butter

  • Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F.
  • In a large bowl, combine the 1 cup warm water, oil, sugar, and yeast. Let sit until the yeast is bubbly (approximately 10-15 minutes). Then stir in the beaten egg, softened butter and salt.
  • With a stand mixer with a dough hook or by hand, add in the flour, 1/2 cup at a time until you have a soft dough that isn’t sticky (If your dough is still sticky after all the flour has been added then add in more flour 1 Tbsp at a time until the dough is no longer sticky).  Then knead by hand 10 minutes or 5 minutes with a stand mixer.
  • Form the dough into 12 balls (I spray my hands with non stick spray so the dough does not stick to my hands when forming the balls). Place in a greased 9X13 pan and cover with parchment paper and a kitchen towel.
  • Let the dough rest and rise for approximately 10 minutes.
  • Bake for 10-15 minutes or just until browned.
