Ingredients
1canTomato Sauce15 oz
1canGreen Chilies4 oz, do not drain
1TbspChili Powder
1/2tspCumin
1/2tspDried Oregano
1tspMinced Garlic
2/3cupWater
Instructions
Place all the ingredients except for the water into a food processor or blender and blend until smooth. Then pour the mixture into a sauce pan and then heat over medium high heat.
Once the sauce is warm, gradually add in the water and stir until the sauce is the consistency that you prefer and then enjoy!
Notes
This sauce is easy to make ahead of time. If you make it ahead of time, refrigerator in an air tight container for up to 5 days or you can freeze it for up to 3 months.
