  • 1 lb Ground Beef
  • 1 lb Italian Ground Sausage
  • 1/2 Onion diced into small pieces
  • 1 Tbsp Minced Garlic
  • 4 cans Crushed Tomatoes 15 oz each
  • 2 cans Tomato Sauce 15 oz each
  • 1 can Tomato Paste 6 oz
  • 2 Bay Leaves
  • 1 Tbsp Italian Seasoning
  • 1 Tbsp Sugar
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Pepper
  • 1/2 cup Beef Broth


  • Brown the ground beef and sausage with the diced onion in a large stock pot or dutch oven.
  • Drain off any excess grease. Then add in the minced garlic. Cook for 1 minute until the garlic aromatic.
  • Then stir in all the remaining ingredients.
  • Bring the mixture to a boil. Then reduce the heat to low and simmer uncovered for 30 minutes. Then remove the bay leaves.
  • Serve over your favorite type of pasta and enjoy!
