- 1 lb Ground Beef
- 1 lb Italian Ground Sausage
- 1/2 Onion diced into small pieces
- 1 Tbsp Minced Garlic
- 4 cans Crushed Tomatoes 15 oz each
- 2 cans Tomato Sauce 15 oz each
- 1 can Tomato Paste 6 oz
- 2 Bay Leaves
- 1 Tbsp Italian Seasoning
- 1 Tbsp Sugar
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 1/2 tsp Pepper
- 1/2 cup Beef Broth
Brown the ground beef and sausage with the diced onion in a large stock pot or dutch oven.
Drain off any excess grease. Then add in the minced garlic. Cook for 1 minute until the garlic aromatic.
Then stir in all the remaining ingredients.
Bring the mixture to a boil. Then reduce the heat to low and simmer uncovered for 30 minutes. Then remove the bay leaves.
Serve over your favorite type of pasta and enjoy!
