Whisk together the vinegar, brown sugar, salt, garlic powder and sugar. Marinade the chicken fillets in this mixture for at least 30 minutes or up to 4 hours.
Preheat the grill over medium high heat (400 degrees F) and rub the grill grates with oil so that the chicken does not stick.
Place the chicken directly on the grill grates and grill the chicken for 3-5 minutes on each side until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165 degrees F.
Move the chicken to a separate plate to rest for at least 5 minutes.
Warm the buns by either microwaving them for 30 seconds or place the buns face down on the grill for a few seconds to brown them slightly.
Then it’s time to assemble the sandwiches. Spread your dressing or condiment of choice on one side of the hamburger buns. Then top it with lettuce, tomatoes and then the grilled chicken fillets. Top the chicken with a slice of the cheese and then 2 bacon slices.
Then sandwich is ready to serve and enjoy!
Notes
*Refrigerate any leftover chicken in an airtight container for up to 5 days. Assemble into sandwiches when you are ready to serve. We love serving mayonnaise or a BBQ sauce on these easy Chicken Club Sandwiches.
