or other thick sliced bread

Instructions
Whisk together the eggs, milk, sugar, vanilla extract and cinnamon in a bowl.
Preheat a griddle over medium heat to 350 degrees F (or use a large skillet). Grease the griddle or pan with the butter.
Dip each slice of the bread slices for approximately 30 seconds per side.
Then place the coated bread slices on the griddle and cook for 2-3 minutes per side until golden brown on both sides.
Serve with your favorite toppings and enjoy!
Notes
Refrigerate the leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
