Make Reese's Brownies for any occasion. The chocolate brownie base, the peanut butter frosting and topped with Reese's candies makes a delicious homemade brownies recipe.
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Spray a 9X13 baking pan with a non-stick cooking spray.
In a large microwave safe mixing bowl, melt the butter and chocolate chips together. Heat in 30 second intervals, stirring after each interval, until melted and combined. Let cool slightly.
Stir in the sugar, brown sugar and vanilla extract. Then stir in the eggs, one at a time, until combined.
Slowly stir in the cocoa powder, flour, salt and baking powder. Mix these ingredients in by hand and be careful not to over mix these ingredients.
Spread the batter into the 9X13 pan.
Bake for 20-25 minutes until a toothpick inserted into the brownies comes out clean.
Allow the brownies to cool completely before topping it with the frosting.
For the Frosting and Topping:
In a medium bowl, cream together butter and peanut butter until smooth and fluffy.
Gradually add powdered sugar, alternating with milk, beating after each additional until desired consistency.
Spread the frosting on top of the cooled brownies.
Add the chocolate chip and butter to a microwave safe bowl. Heat in 30 second intervals, stirring after each interval, until melted and smooth.
Pour the mixture into a piping bag or a ziplock bag. Cut off a small corn and then drizzle the chocolate over the peanut butter frosting.
Sprinkle the chopped Reese’s peanut butter cups and Reese’s pieces on top.
Let the topping cool completely and then the brownies are ready to slice, serve and enjoy!
