Instructions
In a large mixing bowl, combine 1 pound ground beef, ½ pound pork sausage (or ground turkey), ¾ cup quick-cooking oats, 1 cup milk, 3 tablespoons finely chopped onion, ¾ teaspoon salt, and 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce.
Mix all ingredients together until thoroughly combined.
Let the mixture rest for 10 minutes to allow the oats to absorb some of the liquid.
Form the mixture into meatballs, either 1-inch in diameter for smaller meatballs or 2-inch in diameter for larger meatballs.
Preheat the air fryer to 350°F for 5 minutes.
Arrange the meatballs in a single layer in the air fryer basket, making sure they do not touch. Cook in batches if necessary.
For 1-inch meatballs, air fry at 350°F for approximately 10 minutes.
For 2-inch meatballs, air fry at 350°F for approximately 15 minutes.
Shake the basket every 5 minutes to ensure even cooking.
Check smaller meatballs around the 8-minute mark and larger meatballs around the 12-minute mark, as cooking times may vary by air fryer.
Cook until the meatballs reach an internal temperature of 160°F for pork sausage or beef mixtures, or 165°F if using ground turkey.
Serve immediately with your favorite sauce, pasta, rice, or as an appetizer.
