Instructions
Preheat the oven to 240°F.
Core 2 Granny Smith apples and slice them very thin using a mandolin slicer.
In a small bowl, combine 1 tbsp sugar and 1 tsp cinnamon. Stir until evenly mixed.
Place the apple slices in a large bowl and sprinkle the cinnamon-sugar mixture over the apples. Toss gently until all of the slices are evenly coated.
Arrange the coated apple slices in a single layer on a metal baking sheet, making sure the slices do not overlap.
Bake for 2 hours, or until the edges begin to curl and the apple chips are dry and crisp.
Remove the baking sheet from the oven and transfer the apple chips to a wire rack.
Allow the apple chips to cool completely and finish drying.
Store the cooled apple chips in a sealed container until ready to enjoy.
Notes
