Balsamic Glaze
This easy balsamic glaze (a.k.a. balsamic reduction) is just balsamic vinegar and brown sugar simmered into a thick, glossy syrup. Two ingredients, about $0.06 a serving, and so much better than anything from a bottle.

Ingredients
1
cup
balsamic vinegar
2
tablespoons
brown sugar
Instructions
Add balsamic vinegar and brown sugar to a saucepan.
Whisk together and bring the mixture to a low boil.
Simmer for 15–20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the mixture is reduced by half.
Serve immediately, or refrigerate in an airtight container for up to 3–4 weeks.
Notes
This recipe makes approximately ½ cup of glaze.
I recommend storing leftovers in a glass container to help preserve the flavor of the glaze.
