Ingredients
1
box
yellow cake mix
2
cans
21 oz each cherry pie filling
½
cup
unsalted butter
cut into 24 thin slices
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350° Fahrenheit.
Lightly grease a 9x13-inch baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
Spread both cans of cherry pie filling evenly in the bottom of the prepared baking dish.
Evenly sprinkle the dry yellow cake mix over the cherry pie filling, covering it completely.
Arrange the butter slices evenly across the top of the cake mix.
Bake for 50 to 60 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and bubbly.
Serve warm and enjoy!
Notes
Allow to sit for 15-20 minutes before serving.
Serve with ice cream if desired.
