Recipe Tips
Rest Cobbler - Do not serve the cobbler before allowing it to rest as the cobbler will be too runny so make sure to let it sit before serving.
Cooking Time - Make sure that the entire top of the casserole is golden brown not just the edges as the center of the topping could still be runny and not set yet. Cooking time will vary.
No Stirring - Layer ingredients as instructed to create that classic cobbler effect.
Variations Ideas
Change the Meat - This is a great recipe to use leftover turkey from your Thanksgiving feast.
Change the Spices - Use taco seasoning in the biscuit batter and top with jalapeños for a Mexican twist.
Cream Filling - Add ½ cup sour cream to the filling.
