Notes
Chicken: Rotisserie chicken is a great shortcut and works perfectly in this recipe.Vegetables: No need to thaw the frozen mixed vegetables before adding them to the filling.Check for Doneness: If the biscuits are browning before they're fully cooked, loosely tent the casserole with foil and continue baking until the centers are done.Biscuit Tip: I've made this recipe using both whole biscuits and quartered biscuits. Both work well, but I prefer cutting the biscuits into quarters because they're easier to serve and you get a biscuit in every bite.Storage: Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. The biscuits will soften slightly as they sit.Reheating: Reheat individual portions in the microwave or warm larger portions in a 350°F oven until heated through.
