Cool Whip Candy is a quick and delicious treat made with just Cool Whip and melted chocolate. Light, fluffy, and totally addictive which makes the perfect no-bake candy for holidays, parties, or anytime cravings!
Line an 8x8-inch baking dish with parchment paper and set aside.
Place the milk chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl and heat for 1 minute.
Stir and continue microwaving in 30-second intervals. Make sure to stir after each time, until smooth and fully melted.
Once melted, allow the chocolate to cool to room temperature, about 15 minutes.
In a mixing bowl, gently fold the cooled, melted chocolate into the thawed Cool Whip until smooth and evenly combined.
Spread the mixture evenly into the prepared dish.
Freeze for 30 minutes, then remove and cut into 36 small squares. Arrange the squares on a parchment-lined baking sheet and place back in the freezer for another 30 minutes.
Melt the dark chocolate wafers according to the package instructions. Using a fork, dip each frozen square into the melted chocolate, making sure it’s fully coated.
Set the dipped squares on a parchment-lined baking sheet and allow the chocolate coating to harden completely.
Then the candies are ready to serve and enjoy!
Notes
Store the chocolate squares in an airtight container in the freezer for up to 1 month.To prevent them from sticking together, place parchment paper between layers.When ready to enjoy, let them sit at room temperature for 5–10 minutes to soften slightly before serving.
