If you are looking to make Pizza Night a little healthier, make Cottage Cheese Pizza Crust. You only need a few ingredients to make a high in protein pizza crust but is still so delicious!
In a large bowl, stir together the flour, baking powder and salt.
Mix in the cottage cheese with a spatula or wooden spoon. Continue to mix with your hands until a ball of dough is formed. Knead the dough for approximately 20 minutes.
Place the dough in a mixing bowl. Cover the dough with a clean kitchen towel and let it rest for 10-15 minutes.
Preheat the oven to 450 degrees F. Place the dough on a floured surface and roll the dough out with a rolling pin into a circle until it’s approximately ¼-? inch thick. Then transfer the dough to a pizza pan or baking sheet.
Bake the crust for 7 minutes.
Remove from the oven, top with the pizza sauce, shredded cheese and any other pizza toppings you would prefer.
Bake for 15-16 more minutes until the edges of the crust are golden brown.
Remove from the oven. Let the pizza rest for 5 minutes and then it’s ready to slice, serve and enjoy!

Notes
You can use self rising flour instead of the all purpose flour, baking powder and salt if you prefer. Refrigerate any leftover pizza covered or in an airtight container for up to 4-5 days.
