Crock Pot Spaghetti is an easy slow cooker dinner made with simple ingredients. The pasta cooks right in the sauce for a hearty, budget-friendly meal the whole family will enjoy.
In a large skillet over medium-high heat, brown 1 lb ground beef, breaking it apart as it cooks. Drain excess grease if needed.
Transfer the cooked beef to a 6-quart slow cooker. Add two 24-oz jars spaghetti sauce (or 6 cups homemade sauce), 3 cups chicken broth, 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning, 1 teaspoon salt, ½ teaspoon black pepper, and ½ teaspoon garlic powder. Stir to combine.
Break 1 lb dry spaghetti in half and stir it into the sauce mixture, pressing the noodles down so they are fully submerged.
Cover and cook on Low for 4–5 hours or High for 2–2½ hours, until the noodles are tender. Stir once halfway through cooking if possible to ensure even cooking.
Stir well before serving and top with ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese, if desired.
Notes
Check noodles at 4 hours on Low or 2 hours on High, as slow cookers vary. Continue cooking if needed until tender.Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
