Crockpot Taco Soup Recipe is one of my go to meals on busy weeks because it is so easy. The flavor is just amazing and the entire family goes crazy over it.
2tablespoonhomemade taco seasoning(or a half a packet)
1teaspoongarlic salt
1teaspoonsalt
1teaspoonpepper
½onion diced
1cupfrozen corn
1can of black beans(15 oz can)
1can of kidney beans(15 oz can)
1can of crushed tomatoes or diced tomatoes(15 oz can)
4cupschicken broth
2cupscheddar cheeseshredded
Instructions
In a skillet over medium heat, cook 1 pound ground beef until browned. Drain excess grease.
Place the cooked ground beef into the crockpot. Add 2 tablespoons taco seasoning, 1 teaspoon garlic salt, 1 teaspoon salt, and 1 teaspoon pepper. Stir to combine. Add ½ diced onion, 1 cup frozen corn, 1 can (15 oz) black beans (drained), 1 can (15 oz) kidney beans (drained), and 1 can (15 oz) crushed or diced tomatoes.
Give everything a nice stir.
Cook on low for 6-8 hours (or high for 3-4).
Serve warm and top with 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese.
