We love iced tea, and this peach iced tea recipe is no different. It is a fun treat that you can easily make on a hot day. When peaches are on sale, make sure you try this drink
Add the sugar, 1 cup water, and sliced peaches to a medium saucepan.
Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat to medium-low.
Gently mash the peaches while stirring until the sugar is completely dissolved.
Remove from the heat, cover, and let the peach syrup steep for 30 minutes.
Meanwhile, bring 6 cups water to a boil. Remove from the heat, add the tea bags, and steep for 5 minutes.
Remove the tea bags and let the tea cool, then refrigerate until chilled.
Strain the peach syrup through a fine-mesh strainer, pressing gently on the peaches to release the liquid. Discard the solids.
Stir the peach syrup into the chilled tea.
Serve over ice.
Notes
