This Dirty Rice Recipe is simple and perfect for busy weeknights. The beef and veggies blend for the best flavor and make the rice so hearty and delicious.
In a large skillet over medium heat, cook 1 lb ground beef, 2 minced garlic cloves, 2 chopped celery ribs, 1 finely chopped onion, 1 tablespoon chopped parsley, and 1 chopped green bell pepper until the beef is no longer pink.
Stir in 1 teaspoon salt, ¼ teaspoon ground red pepper, ¼ teaspoon black pepper, and 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce. Cook while stirring.
Add rice, broth, ¾ cup water, stirring well. Bring to a boil, cover reduce to medium high heat and simmer 25 minutes or until rice tender. Remove from the heat.
Add 1 cup uncooked rice, 1 (14.5 oz) can beef broth, and ¾ cup water. Stir well.
Bring to a boil, then cover and reduce heat to medium-high. Simmer for 25 minutes or until rice is tender.
Remove from heat, adjust salt and pepper if needed, and serve. Enjoy!
