French Onion Beef and Noodles is a delicious One Pot Recipe that the entire family will love! Beef and Noodles cook in a creamy savory sauce that makes for the best comfort meal.
Heat the olive oil in a large pot or skillet over medium high heat.
Add the beef and season with the onion powder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
Cook for 3-5 minutes until beef is seared on all sides.
Add French onion soup and beef broth to the pot and bring to a simmer.
Add the lid, simmer the beef on low for 45 minutes to help make the beef tender, then add the egg noodles and simmer for 10 more minutes, stirring occasionally until the noodles are soft and cooked.
Remove the pan from the heat. Stir in the sour cream and parmesan cheese. Sprinkle with french onions and serve.

Notes
Refrigerate the leftovers in an airtight container for up to 5 days. Stew meat is great, but I also love using round steak cut into 1 inch pieces. Make sure to let the beef simmer on low so that it is tender. Check the beef and if it’s not fork tender after cooking for 45 minutes, continue to cook on low until the beef is tender. Add more liquid or broth if needed.
