Goulash Recipe is the ultimate comfort food that is loaded with ground beef and pasta in a tomato base sauce. Simple ingredients makes this recipe the perfect one-pot meal.
Brown 1 pound lean ground beef with ½ diced onion and 1 diced green bell pepper in a large skillet over medium high heat. Break up the beef as it browns and drain off any excess grease.
Pour in 1 Tablespoon minced garlic, 1 can tomato sauce (15 ounces), 1 can petite diced tomatoes (15 ounces), 3 cups beef broth, 1 Tablespoon Worcestershire sauce, 1 teaspoon salt, 2 teaspoons Italian seasoning, 1 bay leaf, and 8 ounces uncooked macaroni noodles.
Stir and bring the mixture to a low boil.

Notes
Refrigerate the leftovers for up to 5 days. I love the flavor that beef adds to this recipe but ground turkey, pork or chicken could be used as well based on your preference.
