In a medium saucepan, combine 1 ½ cups ketchup, 3 tablespoons apple cider vinegar, 1/3 cup brown sugar, 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce, 2 tablespoons yellow mustard, 3 cloves crushed garlic, 2 teaspoons onion powder, 1 teaspoon smoked paprika, 1 teaspoon cumin, and ¼ cup water. Stir well to combine all the ingredients.
Place the saucepan over medium heat and bring the mixture to a boil, stirring occasionally so the sauce blends together. Once the sauce begins to boil, reduce the heat to low and simmer uncovered for 20–30 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the sauce thickens to your desired consistency.
Let the mixture cool at room temperature and then refrigerate until ready to use. Enjoy!
