In a medium saucepan, combine 1 ½ cups ketchup, 3 tablespoons apple cider vinegar, ? cup brown sugar, 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce, 2 tablespoons yellow mustard, 3 cloves crushed garlic, 2 teaspoons onion powder, 1 teaspoon smoked paprika, 1 teaspoon cumin, and ¼ cup water. Stir well until fully combined.
Place the saucepan over medium heat and bring the mixture to a boil, stirring occasionally so the sauce blends together evenly.
Once the sauce begins to boil, reduce the heat to low and simmer uncovered for 20–30 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the sauce thickens to your desired consistency.
Remove from heat and allow the sauce to cool to room temperature.
Refrigerate until ready to use. Serve and enjoy!
