packages of jello (I used 4 different ones, but you could do 2 of 2 flavors, or 4 packages of 1 flavor.
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F.
Cream together 1½ cups softened butter and 1 cup sugar until smooth.
Mix in 1 egg and 1 tsp vanilla.
In another bowl, whisk 3¼ cups flour, 1 tsp baking powder, ½ tsp baking soda, and ¼ tsp cream of tartar.
Gradually mix dry ingredients into wet ingredients until dough forms.
Divide dough into 4 sections. Add 2 Tbsp jello powder to each section and knead until combined.
Roll dough into 1-inch balls, then roll in extra jello powder or sugar.
Place on a baking sheet 2 inches apart and flatten slightly.
Bake for 8–10 minutes.
Cool on a rack before serving.
