Neiman Marcus Chicken Casserole is a creamy, classic comfort dish made with pantry staples and topped with a buttery Ritz cracker crust. It’s quick to assemble, budget-friendly, and perfect for feeding a hungry family or a crowd.
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F and spray a 9X 13 baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
In a small mixing bowl, gently stir together the crushed Ritz crackers and melted butter. Set aside.
In a large mixing bowl, combine the chicken, cream of chicken soup, sour cream, garlic powder, shredded cheese, green onions, slivered almonds (if using) and chopped bacon. Mix until all the ingredients are combined.
Spread the mixture evenly into the prepared baking sheet.
Sprinkle the cracker mixture evenly on top.
Bake for 25-30 minutes until the top is golden browned and the casserole starts to bubble.
Remove from the oven, let rest for 5 minutes and then it’s ready to serve and enjoy!
Notes
You can make your own chicken or use a rotisserie chicken if you prefer. I love reserving some of the chopped bacon and sliced green onions and using them to top the casserole when serving. Refrigerate any leftovers in an airtight container for up to 5 days.
