Orange Creamsicle Smoothie is a delicious and creamy smoothie that is full of orange flavor. It is perfect for a dessert, snack or for a delicious breakfast.
1cuporange juicefreshly squeezed or from concentrate
1cupfrozen mango chunks
1cupfrozen banana slices
½teaspoonvanilla extract
¼teaspoonorange zest
½cupwhole milk
Optional: honey for added sweetness
Instructions
Add 1 cup vanilla Greek yogurt, 1 cup orange juice, 1 cup frozen mango chunks, 1 cup frozen banana slices, ½ teaspoon vanilla extract, and ¼ teaspoon orange zest to a blender.
Pour in ½ cup whole milk.
Blend on high speed until smooth and creamy, about 1–2 minutes.
Taste the smoothie and add honey, if desired, for additional sweetness. Blend again briefly to combine.
If the smoothie is too thick, add a little more milk or orange juice until it reaches your desired consistency. If it is too thin, add additional frozen mango chunks or frozen banana slices.
Divide the smoothie evenly between 2 glasses.
Garnish with additional orange zest, if desired, and serve immediately.
Notes
While using frozen fruits helps create a thicker, creamier smoothie, you can use fresh fruits if you prefer. However, you may need to add ice cubes to the blender to achieve a similar texture and temperature.
