Then place 1/2 cup of the shredded mozzarella cheese on each pita.
The top with 6 pieces of pepperonis on each pita.
Bake uncovered for 10-12 minutes until the pita is browned slightly and the cheese is melted.
Cool on the baking sheet for 4-5 minutes, slice and enjoy!

Recipe Tips
Baking Sheet - We recommend using a baking sheet large enough to hold pita pizza to ensure that that everything melts easily.
Cooking Time - Baking the pizza will vary depending on the toppings you use and the type of crust you use. Watch the pizza closely so the pizza does not burn.
Serving - Allow the pizza to cool for a few minutes before serving.
Pita Pizza Variations
Buffalo Chicken Pita Pizza - In a bowl combine 2 cups Cooked Chicken, 1/2 cup Buffalo Sauce and 1 Tbsp Ranch Dressing Seasoning Mix. Spread softened 4 oz. Cream Cheese on pita bread then top with the chicken mixture and mozzarella cheese and buffalo sauce. Then bake for a delicious variations.
BBQ Chicken Pita Pizza - In a bowl combine 2 cups cooked chicken, 1 cup Barbecue Sauce, 1 tsp Salt and Black Pepper, 2 tsp Paprika and 1 tsp Cayenne. Then combine 1/2 cup Barbecue Sauce, 1/2 cup Mayonnaise, 1 tsp Paprika and 1/2 tsp Cayenne in a small bowl. Spread this sauce mixture on the pita bread and top with the chicken mixture, then sprinkle with mozzarella cheese and sliced red onion then bake.
Greek Pita Pizza - Use a gluten-free pita bread to make Greek Pita Pizza by adding cherry tomatoes and feta cheese.
Add Fresh Herbs - For even more flavor, we like to add in fresh herbs such as 1/2 teaspoon of minced garlic or oregano to the pizza sauce. For a hint of spice add in 1 teaspoon of red pepper flakes.
