Optional: additional sugar and cinnamon for sprinkling
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 375°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a small bowl, combine the sugar and cinnamon.
Separate the crescent roll dough into 8 triangles.
In another small bowl, stir together the melted butter and vanilla extract.
Dip each marshmallow into the butter mixture, then roll it in the cinnamon-sugar mixture.
Place a coated marshmallow on the wide end of each crescent roll triangle. Wrap the dough completely around the marshmallow and pinch the seams tightly to seal.
Arrange the rolls seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet.
If desired, brush the tops with any remaining butter mixture and sprinkle with additional cinnamon sugar.
Bake for 10–12 minutes, or until golden brown.
Let cool for a few minutes before serving warm.

Notes
Keep an eye on the rolls while baking. They should be golden brown when done, but be cautious not to over bake as the marshmallows can melt completely.
