Slow Cooker BBQ Chicken Wings cook tender, juicy and perfect for a game day meal! All you need is a few spices and BBQ Sauce to make the best chicken wings.
Place 4 lbs chicken wings and drummettes in the slow cooker.
In a small bowl, combine 1 Tablespoon paprika, 1 teaspoon cumin, ½ teaspoon garlic powder, ½ teaspoon onion powder, ¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper, ½ teaspoon salt, and ½ teaspoon black pepper.
Sprinkle the seasoning mixture over the 4 lbs chicken wings and drummettes and gently toss to coat evenly.
Pour ½ cup barbecue sauce over the seasoned chicken wings.
Cover and cook on LOW for 5–6 hours or HIGH for 2½–3 hours.
When the wings are finished cooking, line a baking sheet with foil and transfer the chicken wings to the baking sheet.
Brush the remaining 1 cup barbecue sauce onto both sides of the chicken wings.
Preheat the oven to broil.
Broil the chicken wings for 5–10 minutes, flipping halfway through, until browned and caramelized.
Serve immediately, or return the wings to the slow cooker and keep on the WARM setting until ready to serve.
