Crock Pot Jambalaya is such a hearty meal with chicken and sausage. Packed with just enough heat to jazz it up but perfect for the entire family to enjoy.
1lbsandouille sausage links(sliced into 1/2 inch pieces)
1Tbspcajun seasoning
½onion(diced into small pieces)
1red bell pepper(diced into large pieces)
1green bell pepper(diced into large pieces)
2stalks celery(sliced)
2tsp minced garlic
1cancrushed tomatoes(14.5 oz can)
2tspdried oregano
1cupchicken broth
3cupscooked rice
Instructions
Add 1 ½ lbs chicken breasts (diced into 1 inch pieces), 1 lb andouille sausage links (sliced into ½ inch pieces), 1 Tbsp cajun seasoning, ½ onion (diced into small pieces), 1 red bell pepper (diced into large pieces), 1 green bell pepper (diced into large pieces), 2 stalks celery (sliced), 2 tsp minced garlic, 1 can crushed tomatoes (14.5 oz), 2 tsp dried oregano, and 1 cup chicken broth into a crock pot. Stir to combine.
Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours until the chicken is cooked through.
Stir in 3 cups cooked rice and mix until everything is well combined. Serve warm and enjoy!
