Preheat the oven to 425 degrees F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Toss 3 cups broccoli florets in a large mixing bowl with 1 Tablespoon Olive Oil, ½ teaspoon Garlic Powder, ¼ teaspoon Black Pepper and ½ teaspoon Salt until well coated.
Spread the broccoli into a single layer on the baking sheet.
Bake for 18-20 minutes until the broccoli is fork tender.
Smash each of the broccoli florets with a heavy flat bottom jar.
Sprinkle ½ cup shredded parmesan cheese evenly over the broccoli.
Bake for 5-8 minutes until the cheese has melted.
Serve warm and enjoy!
