This Taco Rice is an easy one-pan dinner made with seasoned ground beef, fluffy rice, salsa, and melted cheese. It has all the flavors of taco night in a simple, budget-friendly meal that comes together with pantry staples.
In a large, deep skillet, brown 1 lb ground beef, breaking it apart as it cooks. Drain excess grease.
Stir in 1 cup Salsa, 1 packet taco seasoning, 3 cups water, and 1½ cups long-grain rice.
Bring to a boil, then cover and reduce heat to low. Simmer for 15–18 minutes, or until rice is tender and liquid is absorbed.
Stir in 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese until combined.
Remove from heat and serve warm.
