This Homemade Tartar Sauce Recipe comes together in about 5 minutes and taste better than store-bought! Creamy mayo, crunchy pickles, fresh herbs and lemon makes the best Tartar Sauce for all your Seafood Recipes!
In a small bowl, combine 1 cup mayonnaise, ½ cup finely chopped dill pickles, ½ tablespoon fresh dill, 1 tablespoon lemon juice, 1 tablespoon granulated sugar, ½ teaspoon black pepper, ¼ teaspoon salt, and 1 tablespoon finely chopped onion.
Stir well until all ingredients are fully combined.
Taste and adjust by adding more pickles or lemon juice if desired.
Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving.

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks. I prefer using baby dill pickles in this recipe for extra crunch as there is more surface area.
