We enjoy this tuna salad sandwich recipe year round for quick meals and it is delicious. It's perfect for those days you don't want to heat up the kitchen.
Drain 12 ounces white flaked tuna in water well and place it in a small mixing bowl.
Add 1 stalk celery finely diced, 2 dill pickle spears finely chopped, 1 green onion sliced, ¾ cup mayonnaise, 1 teaspoon dijon, 1 teaspoon lemon juice, ¼ teaspoon salt, and ¼ teaspoon pepper to the bowl with the tuna. Mix until everything is well combined.
Serve the tuna salad on 8 slices wheat bread, use it to top a salad, or add it to pasta salads.
