Expert Tips
Cutting Hawaiian Rolls - Gently cut the rolls with a serrated knife so that you have clean lines and the rolls do not tear.
Cooking Time - Baking time will vary depending on your oven and the rolls you use. Watch closely so the buns do not burn.
How Many Sliders Per PersonIt will depend on the type of slider buns that you will use. We like making these sliders with Hawaiian Rolls so we plan on about 2-3 sliders per person. If you use a larger roll then you may plan about 1-2 per person.Variations Ideas
Change the Cheese - Use swiss cheese, cheddar cheese or provolone cheese instead of mozzarella.
Additional Meat - Make it a super slider by adding roast beef and ham. Bacon would also be good.
Butter Mixture - Mix in dijon mustard, poppy seeds and Worcestershire sauce in with the melted butter in a small bowl. We have even added bagel seasoning for even more flavor.
Add Vegetables - Add in sliced tomatoes and slice onion between the turkey and the cheese.
Sauce - Spread honey mustard, chipotle mayo or mayonnaise on the bottom of the rolls for delicious flavor.
Top with Parmesan Cheese - Sprinkle parmesan cheese on top of the rolls after you brushed the butter.
