Ingredients
7-8
medium sized yams peeled & chopped
3/4
cup
brown sugar
½
teaspoon
salt

tbsp
salted butter

tsp
ground cinnamon
1/2
tsp
ground nutmeg
Instructions
Place yams into the slow cooker
In a small bowl mix together the brown sugar, salt, cinnamon and nutmeg.
Sprinkle over the yams.
Slice the butter and place slices over the yams.
Now cover the slow cooker, and set on low.
Let the candied yams cook 3 hours.
Be sure to stir halfway in the cooking process.
Serve and enjoy.
