Ingredients
6
ounces
Club Crackers
1
pound
Bacon
¼
cup
Brown Sugar
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 250°F.
Line a large baking sheet with foil for easy cleanup and place a wire cooling rack on top.
Arrange the Club crackers in a single layer on the wire rack.
Cut each slice of bacon into thirds. Place one piece of bacon on top of each cracker.
Evenly sprinkle the brown sugar over the bacon-topped crackers.
Bake for 60-75 minutes, or until the bacon is browned and crispy. (Cooking time may vary depending on the thickness of the bacon.)
Carefully remove the pan from the oven and let the crackers cool for 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
Refrigerate leftovers in an airtight container for up to 1 week.
Thin-cut bacon works best, as it crisps more evenly during the longer bake time.
For extra crisp bacon, leave the appetizers on the wire rack for a few minutes after baking before serving.
These are best enjoyed warm but can also be served at room temperature.
