Ingredients

Boneless Skinless Chicken Breasts

Olive Oil

Barbecue Sauce

Shredded Colby Jack Shredded Cheese

Bacon
(cooked and crumbled)

green onions
(chopped)
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
Heat 1 tablespoon olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
Add 6 boneless skinless chicken breasts to the skillet and brown both sides for 3–4 minutes.
Transfer the chicken to an oven-safe baking dish.
Spread approximately 1 tablespoon barbecue sauce over each chicken breast using the ½ cup barbecue sauce.
Bake in the preheated oven for 20–25 minutes until the chicken is cooked through.
Remove the dish from the oven and top the chicken with 1 cup shredded Colby Jack cheese and 6 cooked and crumbled bacon slices.
Return the dish to the oven and bake for 5 more minutes until the cheese is melted.
Remove the chicken from the oven and let it rest for 5 minutes.
Top with 2 chopped green onions.
Serve warm and enjoy!
